Linda
I grew up in the Midwest and moved to NYC soon after I was married. I earned a BA in Music from Brooklyn College of the City University of New York. After graduation I performed chamber music and taught private lessons for a few years. Due to the time constraints of raising a family and working full time, my music involvement was reduced to singing in Episcopal church choirs and playing piano for services at the Mennonite church I now attend. Until 2003, that is, when I took up traditional Irish music. In 2004 I joined The Washington Square Harp and Shamrock Orchestra. The rest is history, as they say... recorded on this blog.
